Folic acid deficiency

Good morning
Does anyone know if a level of 2.3 folic acid is low? I was told I'm not anaemic but I feel rotten.
Can chest pain be caused by low folate? B12 is fine apparently but no info or advice about folate of 2.4.
Im absolutely knackered, chest heaviness and just feel generally unwell. Been covid swabbed and it's negative and had an ECG done which was normal. Any advice would be great please

I had folate deficiency (as well as B12 which I have injections for). I can't remember the numbers but I think it was around yours and I was prescribed a high dose folate tablet to take, I felt shocking! I'm actually awaiting blood test results as I've been feeling rubbish again, I should get them tomorrow hopefully.

Hope the results were OK. I didn't ever think It was possible to feel so washed out from folate.

Mine was 2.4 and I felt absolutely awful. Constantly felt ill and run down, no energy to do anything. Did you get 5mg folic acid prescripted from the doctor? It does help. I needed B12 as well.
I've heard that low folate can hide a B12 deficiency and it should be checked again after 3 or 4 months of folic acid.
