Am not preggers, but have felt sick for about 3 weeks, gone off sweet stuff - very unlike me- and have a lump in my throat just under the jaw bone. Any ideas??

omg, I've done about 4 pregnancy tests I've been feeling so ill in the morning. First I thought I'd picked up one of the vomiting bugs that the kids have had and then it just carried on (I'm starting to feel better now). Maybe it's something going around?

I don't know...are any of your other glands swollen?

mistypeaks · 22/11/2007 21:48

Yup I've been the same. Sudden sicky feeling (but never actually sick - a lot like morning sickness - almost a hungry sick?) And really tired (even more so than usual). Am also not preggers.

I used to get it at a point in my cycle.

But if you have swollen glands, you've probably picked up some bug. I hope you feel better soon!

I found eating made it slightly better.

fedupwithfeelingsick · 22/11/2007 22:02

ooh that makes me feel a little better

havent noticed any other glands up foxinsocks, tho thinking about it i wonder if glands in your stomach can make you feel sick if enlarged?

mistypeaks - a hungry sick, that's it. Dont want to eat but feel a bit better when i do.

It's really odd. Even happening during periods so thats how i know it's not preg sick

Could you have glandular fever? Anaemia?

fedupwithfeelingsick · 22/11/2007 22:39

No dont think so,i think the doc would of checked, but the symptons do sound like that dont they? Had that when i was a teen, can you get it again?

I had it as a teen and when I'm very run down, I get sort of a mini version. I know you're not supposed to but I definitely do!
