I have been waiting since the beginning of the year on an appointment to have an Endoscopy. I had a telephone consultation with a consultant who said based on my symptoms he thought I had H. Pylori and suggested an Endoscopy too.
I tested positive for H. Pylori and was treated for it and since then my symptoms have more or less subsided. I've now received the appointment through 7 months later but I don't know whether to have it done or not now? I've been trying to call the department to ask their opinion but I cannot get through. I am really anxious about having this procedure done as it is and part of me is chickening out but then I'm also feeling like someone else may need that appointment more than I do now.
I really do not know what to do!
