Sausage shaped lump?

Last week I felt really bloated when I woke up so I massaged my stomach and could feel a sausage shaped lump in my abdomen between my ribcage and my belly button. As the day went on it went away and I haven't felt it since (although I didn't feel for it much because I assumed it was gas and had gone).

This morning I felt my abdomen and it was there again. It's hard, not painful but very long and it snakes/curves down on my right side.

I'm going to be called for a doctors appointment this morning but I'm just wondering if anyone has had the same thing?

Is it your bowel? Could be faeces - definitely see the doctor but that would be my first thought (not a medical dr by the way)

That's what I thought it might be. Looking at anatomy pictures it's in the area of the transverse colon.
Googling has made me very scared (never a good idea!).

I sometimes get this when I need a poo 😂 I think it's just faeces in the colon because it goes away once I've been to the loo. Best to get it checked if you're worried though

It's poo 💩

LapinR0se · 23/06/2021 06:37

Poo or gas!

Uponmytiptoes · 23/06/2021 06:37

Well I've been to the loo and it's not there anymore! Although when I really press on my abdomen next to my belly button I can feel something move but it doesn't feel the same...I'm probably just annoying my organs now!

Are you quite slim @polkadotpixie? I've lost weight due to not eating because of stress so maybe I can just feel this now I'm slimmer?

@Uponmytiptoes Yes, I'm fairly slim - size 10. I think it's probably easier to feel if you are
