Recently I woke with stomach and back pains which are now thought to be caused by gallstones so further investigation is needed. I went in an ambulance to A&E. I seemed to be given a lot of medication in a short period of time, maybe I was hallucinating! I'm not 100% sure of dosages and times but I will give you what I know:
12am : 2 co-codamol @home
4am : morphine (via cannula) in ambulance
4.30am morphine (Ivan cannula) in ambulance
8am: codeine phosphate 30mg @A&E
9.20am: liquid oramorph @A&E

I was then told to go to the pharmacy and collect a prescription for 60 codeine phosphate and go home. (I took 1 but really can't remember when) They didn't even ask how I was getting home. I actually got a bus then a train home and was like something out of the walking dead! The strange thing is it all didn't stop the pain only make me very drowsy.
