Constant headaches

My DH woke with a severe headache this morning and told me off because I elbowed him in the head in the middle of the night. At 8am he was sick and now his head feels really tender where I bashed him. He is still in pain but it is much much better than earlier. He can't wear hats or caps because they make his head tender, he also can't be in a noisy room or the cinema because it sets a headache off. In fact he has a headache most days . I feel terrible for causing this as I know he has a sensitive head. I am going to sleep downstairs tonight. However surely it isn't normal to have such a sensitive head.

I would seek some medical advice OP, not usual to have a constant headache or to be so sensitive. Can he book in to see Gp?

I have just done an email consultation form for him. He is reluctant as he has been to the GP twice before the first time about 18 yrs ago he was told just one of those things and the 2nd time about 6 years ago they referred him to a specialist who did lots of tests which were all normal and she told him to try and avoid the triggers of noise and hats etc on the head but they are becoming more frequent almost daily now whereas before they were every couple of days. He is a stress pot though and gets very easily stressed about small things. He says even just touching his head causes pain and it has done as long as he can rememeber!!
