Weird red spots

I have small red pinprick spots on my legs. I noticed them after getting dressed. I have tried the glass check and they are still there. Apart from a headache and general feeling of weakness (which I suffer a lot from) I feel OK. Anyone know what it could be. I know it's not razor burn rash

I’m not a doctor but they sound to me like petechiae.I don’t think they’re usually quite as dramatic as the ones in the picture at the Wikipedia article — more usually little, flat, not itchy, don’t disappear when pressed. Lots of potential causes, but I think you should see your doctor to get anything serious or any other possible causes ruled out.

Yes the photo looks dramatic definitely not as bad as that. I'm trying to keep am eye on them so I don't waste doctors time or anything. I've noticed now there are on the top of my back when I look over in the mirror and a few spots on stomach. Just very strange to see

Have you had a recent covid jab, I think some people have reported spots on their legs.

@xoOceanBlue If they’re all over you it could also be a weird allergic reaction? This is how I found out I was allergic to (of all things) rhubarb— tiny ready spots all over my body! It was mental.

I haven't had my covid vaccine yet. I'm trying to think if I've had anything new to eat or used anything new but I'm sure I haven't

I had them last year. I was on 2 lots of antibiotics and ibuprofen at the time for a gum infection.
Got a telephone appointment and the gp said it was probably a side effect of the tablets and being ill. I had blood tests, they were normal.
The spots disappeared on their own a few weeks later.
