Sinusitis

I’ve recently had covid, and it’s left me with a lovely case with of sinusitis. The headaches I keep having are like nothing I’ve ever felt before Sad.

Has anyone ever suffered with this and how long did it take before it went away? The pain is unbearable.
Ibuprofen eases the pain for a bit, but I know it will just come back again soon enough. I’m also using a nasal spray.

I’m so miserable. We’re due to come out of isolation tomorrow and I can’t face going out but I know I have to.

I had to get antibiotics from the GP it was that bad. You have my sympathies 💐 I also took cocodamol for the pain until it passed. Roughly five days or so.

Hope you feel better soon.

Poor you! I get sinusitis regularly, painkillers, drink lots and call the Dr. Sometimes the the only thing that will shift it is antibiotics and some nasal sprays. I agree, the headaches are horrendous!

I get it regularly and find steam with menthol crystals brilliant. It relieves the pain for a while and some relief. I always end up on antibiotics but really recommend the menthol crystals. X

I use sinutab. It's about 4 pound in asda. Worth contacting your gp is its persistent.
It's awful isn't it. Flowers

I’m suffering too. Antibiotics helped but it’s creeping back now a week later 😫

My sinusitis has just appeared due to a bad bout of hay fever. Will be on cocodamol later on. It's grim.

I got prescribed monetasone spray from the GP, it's on repeat. I order it regularly at this time of year. Has varying results.

I've had this on and off (feels more on than off sometimes) since Dec 2019 and am waiting for an ENT referral. I have a nasal spray on repeat prescription but not sure if it helps or the symptoms just fluctuate on their own, still it feels better than doing nothing. The headache/face ache is miserable.
