I've noticed my almost 2 year old has been itching his scalp a lot in the past few days. I checked for nits but can't see any. He has short, fine, fair hair so they'd be easy to see. He's got a few very small red patches. Could be from itching and breaking the skin or could be the cause for the itchiness in the first place. I'm not sure. His scalp doesn't look dry. I'm concerned the itching will exacerbate the redness. What can I do to help heal the scalp and prevent the itching? TIA
