Uti tummy pain

Last night I started antibiotics after dip stick showed cloudy urine with white cells. I've only had 2/15 tablets so far. When will they kick in? It doesn't even hurt to wee but the lower tummy pain is really sore.

Usually oral AB's will kick in straight away but you won't feel any benefit from them until 24/48hrs usually. Have you tried taking some painkillers with them? Check if you can first.

Thank you. I took paracetamol last night with the first antibiotic and now 12hours later some ibuprofen. Hopefully tomorrow I'll start to feel better.

Oral antibiotics take time to kick in. This can be variant on the drug and dose and also your weight.
Normally most ppl feel an effect by 48 hours
