I was on hormonal contraception of some kind from my late teens to early 30s (with no periods for most of that time), and stopped taking anything 18 months ago. Since then, my periods have been pretty regular but far apart - I use a tracker app which says that my cycle length at the moment is 54 days, but it varies from about 37 - 60 days.
The periods themselves are fine - 4 days and easy to deal with, rather than over a week and horrible like they used to be (which is why I started taking the pill in the first place) - but I'm a bit concerned about how far apart they are. Do you think there's a chance they're still settling down after a decade and half of almost no periods? Can a cycle that long be normal?
