Is this anything to worry about? 16mo old?

Hiya,

My DS (16 months) has had a cold for the last week, quite normal runny nose etc. won't eat or drink much. But I've just noticed a few white ulcers on his tongue and on inside of mouth (about 4) What could this be? Has anyone any ideas?? Called GP's but as usual the surgery is shut AGAIN!!

A chemist, if you can get to one this pm, might be able to offer more immediate advice.

I would call out of hours and go and see a doctor if you can't get in at your local GP. If he's not eating it's probably because his mouth/throat is sore.

Our doctors are never there when you need them either. I usually wait until they close and get an out of hours appointment at the hospital.
