Second ECG appointment letter, no communication

Dp had a 24hr heart monitor early May (no symptoms but GP advised he have investigations after several family members had heart attacks in their early 40s). He heard nothing back after the test, but has today received a letter asking him to book in for a 24 hr heart monitor. No ref to it being a repeat/second test, or to the first one🤔 Gp surgery closed so will have to wait til Monday and is worried sick. Is this necessarily bad news d'you think?

Could it be a clerical error or maybe they wanted to repeat the 24 hour monitor to get two sets of results to make sure there are no anomalies?

Could be an admin, I’ve been sent 2 MRI appointments after I’d already been and required no further follow up!

Thanks both. That's what I'm thinking as surely someone would have got in touch if there had been something concerning after the first ECG?
Will update when we find out more, just in case it might help others!
