Any GPs or nurses about? Preparing for a smear

Hi, I'm having my smear tomorrow but I'm also ttc and today is peak fertility day! Do I need to abstain before the test?

I don't think it would alter the results of the test however I would suggest It may be slightly unpleasant for the person doing the smear if there were semen in the vagina. But they wouldn't mention it or anything so go for it if it doesn't bother you.
