Is this sinusitis?

My son and I have recently been poorly (negative covid tests all round)

I’ve assumed it was a cold but my son is now better and days later I am not.

I have very thick, yellow/green mucous that’s practically choking me. My nose is completely blocked and has been for over a week now. I have zero taste or smell (had a second PCR test when I lost this and both were negative).
When I blow my nose (which is very difficult) the mucous has a lot of blood from my left nostril and it’s so thick.

The other weird thing is the noise from my nose! It sounds like popcorn popping! I thought it was in my head by a woman at work heard it yesterday 🤣 there’s a lot of pressure which I’m assuming the noise is the pressure releasing?

I feel a bit unwell with a headache but my throat and chest are fine. I’m coughing a bit but I think that’s just the mucous I have.

Does this sound like sinusitis? Does it need treating or will it run its course? It is really annoying me!

I have chronic sinuitis and get very little mucus. Do you have pain around your eyes? Headache? If you bend over does it feel like your eyes are going to fall out? It sounds like youmay have a nasty infection, i would ring gp, they can give you antibs over the phone. In the meantime decongestionates are your best friend. The spray ones work way better than the tablets, something like otravine( you can buy from any supermarket) are great or if you prefer tablets try Sudafed max strength. Try steaming and vick on your chest too. Hope you get it sorted- sounds grim !
