Hi, my DDad just had a massive heart attack today. He had one 2 years ago. He is in ICU after having (a 3rd) stent. My mum is his designated visitor. Does anyone have any positive experiences? I'm breaking my heart, I dont want the last image I have to be me trying to rub heat into his dying body 😭
My DP's DB died in hospital 10 days after his heart attack (over 20years younger than my dad) and during covid so had no visitors, so that is playing on my mind!
Thankyou x

Oh I'm sorry to hear this OP, any update?

So sorry to hear this. He is in the best place and if they’re fitting another stent that’s really good as they obviously feel this will sort him out. I hope you get a positive update soon. Flowers

Thankyou for replying and asking how he is. I'm sorry I wrote out an update last night but looks like it didn't post!
He's home, I picked him up today with my mum.
He had an inferolatral STEMI, so one of the bad heart attacks but not the most serious! I'm in awe at how lucky he is!! 2nd geart attack and tests show very mild damage. I'm hoping that means he will be ok. He is such a fit person who hates sitting still. Tbh I wonder if that is what saved his life (along with the amazing paramedics and hospital staff!!)

That is good news. Well, the best news for the circumstances. I hope he recovers well. Flowers
