How to recover Diarrhoea

After having diarrhoea for a couple of weeks, I am being referred for a CRP blood test and abdominal and pelvic scans.

I feel a lot of soreness around my tummy area and feel very tired.

Food isn't great. I have tried to stick to plain water and bland food but I am so struggling with it. Especially as it's not really making any difference.
I am at a point which I just can't face eating but feel the lack of energy now

Any recommendations on gentle food which helped you? That isn't plain rice, pasta, toast, crackers etc.

Thanks

Perhaps try some probiotics eg yakult drinks?
Maybe some simple biscuits also?

I'm just finding it all hard to eat in its blandness that I am now eating very much. Quite demoralising when there is no improvement.

I find crisps and dip good weirdly! Like salted kettle chips and maybe hummus (not loads). It’s easy for me to eat and I really like it so it helps!

Hummus has chickpeas so maybe not ideal as it’s pulses but a different dip like tzatziki is nice and mild!

Had severe morning sickness at the beginning of pregnancy and the main things I could stomach were salt and vinegar crisps and those soba pot noodles. Also the proper (non diet) Coca Cola.

Omg pot noodles 100%. Bananas too, almonds and overnight oats - you can mix them with mashed banana, chocolate yoghurt (the dark choc laptop is good), peanut butter etc. I get that these aren’t madly flavoursome but I’m just thinking what I could eat when I was constantly throwing up from anxiety and undiagnosed coeliac disease (obviously the pot noodles and oats probably didn’t help 🤔)
