I have an impacted wisdom tooth which has been repeatedly infected (four times so far since Christmas). The infections have always been cleared by antibiotics.
I was referred some time ago to the local dental hospital and am due to have it finally removed on Wednesday. But I’ve started getting the now familiar ache, and I’m fairly sure it’s infected again. I’ll call the dental hospital tomorrow, but does anyone know if they’ll still remove it if it is infected?
I just want it out and really don’t want to have to join the waiting list all over again!
