Hmm i think ds is coming down with something, but what ?

He moaned all the way home that his legs hurt. He does get achy legs alot,normally in the night but has been checked by a doc who said it was growing pains or cramp.

I asked him to show me where the pain is and he pointed to his shins. In the end he was crying and lying on the floor curled up, so i stripped him off and put him in the bath. Noticed a couple of pinky red blotches on him and then after 5 min he asked to come out saying he had got the wobbles.

He looks knackered, eyes look a bit red and his cheeks also, although he doesn't seem to be hot.

He is still complaining about his legs so I have put some ibuprofen gel on them and his is now tucked up in bed looking very sorry for himself.

Any ideas ?

non-specific virus? Blotches and red face/cheeks usually mean that don't they?

Poor boy though.

I got told off today for sending ds to preschool ('we think you better keep him off tomorrow').

HOw was I to know he was ill and it wasn't just early morning whinging? I do feel bad now though

Oh don't feel bad Armadillo,I have done that loads of times. Sometimes it is so hard to tell if they are faking it or not.

Ds is sound asleep now and seems to be a bit cooler. Will see how he is in the morning.

How's your ds doing? Is he feeling any better or has it hit him hard?
