Chest infection/pneumonia?

I had what i though was laryngitis since fri night which is a bit better now but i now have a cough and a pain in my side,between my rib cage and my pelvis. Is this too low for lung pain? Don't really want to bother doc as my breathing is o.k and no temp.

Could you have pulled a muscle coughing?
Is it worse when you breathe in or out or is it unchanged, are you coughing anything up?

Not a pulled miscle pain and it stays unchanged. Coughing up a little bit,occasionaly pink stained.

IME if it is is lung related it would be painful when you were breathing and coughing. I'd get checked out anyway since you are coughing up pink phlegm - I'd be mroe worried abotu that than the pain.

Have had pneumonia before but can't really remeber how it started. I know it took a while for the breathing to get hard - by which time i got admitted. Guess i should try and get an appt.Thanks all
