Any Dentists Around? Bony lump

I had my lower wisdom tooth removed 3 weeks ago. I've just noticed a hard bony lump on the inside edge of my gum just under my tongue. It doesn't hurt and just feels like bone. Could this be normal?
I have been Googling and finding all sorts about oral cancer . If it was that though would the Xray they did that went all round my head have picked it up?
CakeBrewWine for getting to the end of my wittering.

The actual lump is below the tooth next to the one that was extracted & looks like normal gum. On the lower jaw next to the tongue.

It sounds like mandibular tori? I have these on both sides. Are you sure it's new?

Yes I'm sure it's new. I don't think it's a mandibular tori because the lump is so far back. It's also so low down I'm nor sure it even classes as still gum or the floor of my mouth really.
I've very upset as I've called the dentist this morning and they can't see me for weeks so I have lots of worrying before I get seen. Sad
