Light periods & painful ovulation?

For the last 2 months my periods have been much lighter than normal. Only 3-4 days long with 1.5 days of loss then just needing a panty liner for the rest of it. I have a 14 month old DS and periods returned 6 months ago and they were more or less the same except irregular until these last 2 months. I've also noticed that I get more pain at ovulation time and seem to have loads of CM for a good 5 days around ov. What's going on? Anyone else experienced this?

No personal experience (I am having completely the opposite problems!)
I honestly think it's worth an appointment with a GP. More than likely, nothing to worry about, but I think it's always worth having an expert opinion on any changes in periods. I'm going to see mine soon, hopefully to put mu mind at rest rather than find out there's a problem.
