Periods after mirena removal

Hi all,

I was given a mirena coil 2 years ago due to very heavy periods. My partner and I recently decided ttc so I had the coil removed. About 35 days after removal, I got pink bleeding for a week (heavier than spotting) then the following week darker red bleeding continuing until now. Currently, including today I have had 18 days of bleeding. Is this normal after removal?

Any help would be appreciated!

I had shocking amounts of bleeding as soon as it was removed,I couldn’t leave the house,no pain though which was a strange combo! It was a withdrawal bleed.
I think got pregnant immediately so didn’t go on to have a cycle.

I think perhaps you need to give it a bit of time to settle down. Could you be pregnant (as strange as that sounds with the bleeding)?
