Any cardiologists about? (borderline left atrial enlargement)

I had an echocardiogram while pregnant and just got my notes back.
In my notes, it says I have 'Borderline Left Atrial Enlargement'. I wondered if anyone could explain what that means?

I have been referred to cardiology by my GP as I have often a racing heart/fast heart rate and I fainted the other week after another episode of palpitations/fast heart rate - wondered if they are related?
