DD come out in spots around mouth and nose and ds has one on cheek. What could it be?

Its definately not Chicken Pox because they've already had it this year and it hasnt spread anymore since this morning.

They look a bit red with what looks like a head underneath iyswim.
DD says its a bit sore and she complained when she was eating an apple earlier that it was hurting.

Any ideas?

Impetigo maybe. Bumping fo ryou anyway.

I've just noticed one of them on dd's nose has come out in a white head and I've taken it off

I thought Impetigo was scabs?

Impetigo starts as spots and becomes scabs.

How long does it take to come out as scabs and are they contagious now?

Can't remember. The scab is sort of yellowy green and jelly like. And then goes hard and crusty. A couple of days of spots I think. It's contagious. Family contact contagious.

Just checked her now and they all look like they have white heads on now.

I think the one ds has is just coincidence as its just one red one on his cheek and dd's are clusters.
