It’s long and find it hard to txt, so sorry for bad grammar. I have been having problems with my feet for a few months, thought it was slipped disc related as I have had 2 which have been awful, unable to sit hardly or stand, have been really struggling with red then they go purple toes and feet all veins down my legs now all hurt, this is not on and off it’s all the time when I try and sit on loo it’s awful throbbing pain and now even legs go purple and throbbing, haven’t felt well for a while but put it down to back, as was having to pace up and down all day or lay. Have felt dizzy breathless, become worse managed to get doctor to see me after taking my blood pressure and pulse which were very high, she called ambulance I was clammy and slight fever, she thought I had sepsis, they did bloods at hospital chest X-ray, then said no infection go home I tried explaining I have lost weight a lot can’t stand up without heart racing constantly also at night head throbbing and showed them my feet, they said go back to go, was wheeled out to husband at11 at night, currently exactly same just getting to the loo is awful heart racing so dizzy blurred vision, we are getting no where with our doctors as they only have 2 and they told me to go back to a&e I can’t sit and to ill to stand, can anyone help I feel lost in the system, my husband constantly trying to goggle things out of desperation, don’t know which way to turn, when I said in a&e that I felt so ill and could it be to do with circulation as seemed to be connected to feet, they just said a&e is for emergency only so can’t help, any one out there have any advice please

Find another doctor today. I’m sorry you are not being taken serious by your current gp. That’s awful. Go and register somewhere else and ask to see someone today, if you can’t then go back to a and e. You shouldn’t have to put up with that x

I’m trying to start a new thread but can’t! I need advice and reassurance, I have tonsillitis and I’ve never felt this ill! The pain in my throat is like a white hot poker is resting there and I’m coughing so much I can hardly breathe. It’s been five days now, I’m on antibiotics although I think it’s probably viral. How long will this last? I thought I’d be feeling even slightly better by now but every day has some fresh new hell.
Sorry if I’ve accidentally hijacked a post...

Hi Op, so sorry this is happening for you right now, it sounds dreadful. Did the Gp call you? Were they helpful? If not are there any other GP’s at the practice? I understand what a&e said but something clearly isn’t right. You need help. It does sounds like the circulation is affected-did they referred you to the vascular team?

@Aliceclara Admin should be able to help you move your message, you can flag it to them by reporting it and asking them to move it.

Cherryleaf, thank you, i am seeing cardiovascular consultant on Tuesday we have arranged this ourselves, just got to get there, the doctor that called back at 5 was no help, he said, maybe go to a& e it’s awful, we are just going around in circles, we currently have no full time doctors at our practice, and the one that called the ambulance for me is off now for half term, and only does 2 days a week. It seems the system is terrible, I can’t believe you can be this ill and turned away.

And no they didn’t refer me to anyone, just said contact your GP, I did say I had been trying for over a week before ending up in hospital.

Ok, document everything- who said what and when, you can use it to inform PALs once you are feeling stronger. Well done for getting yourself that appt this week. Can you self refer to physio where you are? Most places have that facility now, just search ‘self refer physio’ with the name of your county and it should come up. They can focus on the difficulties/pain on sitting and escalate internally for more investigation. You are doing really well and hopefully will get more answers soon.
