yup, ruby that is what the dd's have had this week. Spiking temps (especially at night), achy, whingy (oh dear me the whinging), off food, bit of a cough.

CranberryMartini · 18/11/2007 12:53

DS1 had a cough and sore throat with a temp. the first 2 days and then normal temp afterwards. It was a bit weird as everything got worse early evening (although you expect a temp to get worse) and lasted all night and then was much better again by mid morning. I know things are always worse at night but this was particularly marked. DS2 and I had something similar without the temp.

DH had man flu and was allegedly at death's door even though he struggled manfully on, but actually he probably had the same as us.

Thankfully it didn't last too long - about 5-7 days.

oh poor you! here in honneybunny household we've all had some weird flu-y virus-buggy-sickness. involves sore throat, sores on tongue, fever, loss of taste, aches everywhere. have it myself at the moment (and thought i was the only one in the house not falling victim).
hope you all get well soon!
