I am VERY long-sighted and am considering laser eye eye surgery in the new year, has anyone had it done and can recommend somewhere good??

I know 2 people who have had laser surgery done and they both say it is amazing.

I can't help with recommendations as I'm overseas

I had laser surgery for short-sightedness four years ago - it was, and still is, wonderful. Very simple procedure and recovery.

At the time, it was not possible to get it done for long-sightedness, so it must be a relatively new procedure now.

ST - where did you get yours done?? I will need to go for a consultation as it is still new ofr long-sightedness but I would prefer to go to a recommneded place rather than just pick somewhere random.

I have got info from Ultralase, Optimax and Optical Express. I would love to be free from specs as I hate wearing them.

I had mine done in the USA, so no help there

Had it done last year.
Best thing I've ever spent money on.
I used Ultralase - a bit more pricey but I felt I was in safe hands and they looked after me well.
