I woke up this morning with pain and a large lump. It's so painful. I've never had piles before and have had no previous pain or constipation. Am treating it with anusol but should I see a doctor? Do they usually go on their own?

They usually do.

I had horrendous ones when I was heavily pregnant. About 4 all or which had thrombosed. I was in agony and constantly crying.

I now suffer on and off and recently 3 appeared one day and have been very uncomfortable to say the least. I dont even know how they appeared as I've not felt any strain when going to the toilet for a long time. I used creamed but they took around 3 weeks to go.

They only time I saw the doctor was when I had the 4 when pregnant and they were purple. I cant even explain the pain. Horrendous.

Good luck they arent nice.
