...would you tie a bit of thread round it to meake it drop off?

Or would you not bother because that is plainly a stupid thing to do?

if just on the skin tag, that'd be ok

NutterlybloodandgUts · 17/11/2007 21:26

didn't someone do this to one of their piles?

nippletag · 17/11/2007 21:27

ahem yes just on the tag
I am otherwise quite fond of the nipple itself

I had skin tag in quite a sensitive place which I managed to sort out with a piece of blue thread - worked a treat !

nippletag · 17/11/2007 21:30

Did the blue have some special significance??

Right am off to tie it
I wonder if its going to hurt

blue so I could see it !! it actually felt a lot better once I'd done it as it was getting rubbed and somehow it numbed it - good luck !

DarthVader · 17/11/2007 21:38

what is one, what does it look like?

nippletag · 17/11/2007 21:41

It's just a tiny skin tag
It happens to be on mynipple....it appeared when Iw as pg for the first time

just a little tiny flap of skin - if you tie it off with a piece of cotton thread it loses it's blood supply and shrivels up - they're harmless but can rub and get sore

nippletag · 17/11/2007 21:44

Not fun when breastfeeding... [oof]

I've got one on the end of mine. Had it for years. It's just a small flesh coloured one, so I've left well alone. DH gets brown ones round his neck/shoulder areas. He used to have a large one that would hang over his collar and I couldn't sit opposite him when eating. Made me feel ill, I'm funny like that. He got rid of that one, not with string, just pinching it and twisting it repeatedly.

You can use dettol to sort of burn them and then they pull off easy like
