Discomfort in diaphragm & burping

Hi all, long time lurker & habitual searcher finally checking in for help. 42yso mum of 3...

I've got this odd sensation of the top of my stomach being distended & pushing into my ribs/sternum, like my diaphragm has just relaxed & it feels like it's limiting my breathing (my breath rate is normal at 12/13 pm) & I'm burping a lot. This has been going on for a few weeks.

I'm not in pain, just uncomfortable. Not exactly bloated (can still pull stomach in & flattens out when I'm laying on my back), can still do jeans up etc. It's most noticeable when sitting.

Last Yr during lockdown the Dr said he thought I had GORD/GERD, then silent reflux & post nasal drip. Have had a gastroscopy & that's all clear but for a bit of gastritis. No h-pylori. Am on current 3 month course of steroid nasal spray cos of the PND being so bad my chest & lungs were noisy!

Multiple blood tests all clear but for low vit d (was on 20k twice a week) & anemia (which I've had for years). Had chest x-ray last month & that's all clear. Last abdominal scan end of 2019 also clear. Palpations by Dr clear from a few weeks ago. All of this was for other stuff, this sensation is new.

I have major healthy anxiety & anxiety in general & this isn't helping. If I'm distracted the sensation seems to go away. I'm feel like I'm going slightly mad tbh & part thinks I need to go back to the Dr & the other part is just embarrassed!

Does any of this ring true for anyone?

Hi Op, wondering if you ever found out what was wrong? I'm experiencing similar at the moment, like a ache or gnawing feeling in the top of my abdomen. Hope you're feeling better now.

I also have this, usually in morning I notice it disappears when i trump or go for a wee. I was told it was my digestive system but panicking I have some tumour somewhere as I also have anxiety. I had X-ray on lungs, then I had an ultrasound, then ct scan and nothing came up but still worrying me
