Womb biopsy

Just had a womb biopsy today, and bleeding quite heavy.
I didn't get any paperwork for aftercare, so not sure what to expect.
Does anyone know how long this lasts for?
And has anyone had the same and with what results.
TIA

I had a womb biopsy when I had a hysterscopy last November. I did bleed a bit, but not a huge amount. If you are still bleeding I would call your gynae dept, or the non emergency nhs number 111 and see what they say. I hope it's stopped by now though, and your results come back clear.

Just had a nice bath so hoping it calms down a little.
Thank you. Early night for me

I had a hysteroscopy recently (with endometrial biopsy) and they said no baths for at least a week Blush although thinking about it, it might even have been two weeks.
It was definitely no sex or articles (tampons etc) in the vagina for two full weeks, in case of causing infection.

I only bled that day really, then watery discharge for over a week.
I suppose it will depend on how much "digging" they did.

It says bleeding for up to a week in my, admittedly very generic Hysteroscopy information pamphlet.
It doesn't say anything about aftercare really, the thing about baths was told to me by the nurse discharging me.

Thanks brilliant, thank you for that. I went straight back to work, I did have a piece of paper but I thought it was my appointment card.

Still quite sore this morning.
Just took some painkillers.
