Cervical ectropion

Hello. I have been bleeding after sex and have been getting vaginal discharge too. I was reffered to the gynaecologist. They told me i have cervical ectropion and it could be treated if the bleeding keeps happening. I am so worried because i have been searching it on google. Does anyone else have cervical ectropion?

I had this. Gynae said is was very common. I had it treated a few years ago and I’ve not had any issues since.

I had it during my 3rd pregnancy. It sorted itself out. Mine likely occurred due to hormones at the time. Don't worry, really common!

My gynaecologist said it is not linked to cervical cancer. I was just hoping to find someone who had cervical ectropion with symptoms like me and then turned out to be fine years later.

Just checked and mine was treated in 2017, so just coming up to 4 years. I haven’t had any symptoms since. They did say it could come back but then it’s just the same treatment again, which was fairly quick.
