Suspected sciatica - GP or someone else?

Niggle down back of one leg, exacerbated by running Sad for the last 4 weeks approx. Even notice it walking. Not what I'd call painful (yet) but keen to zap it early! Should I go to GP first, or straight to physio/osteo/chiro - or leave it?

Better off seeing a physio as that is all gp will advise along with otc pain meds

I thought I had sciatica but it’s sacroiliac joint pain and an osteo has wrought miracles.

No point trying to see my GP, it’s like Fort Knox and took me a month to talk to someone about crippling anaemia which ended up needing urgent meds.

If you can afford to go private try and osteo or physio.

Physio. But first I'd google it and see if you can diagnose then do stretching exercises that are recommended. I diagnosed my hip flexor problem off google and there are many many You Tube videos out there with exercises. All sorted in a few weeks. Its one of the many things I find Google diagnosis good for.

I always go to the chiro for my back.

Thanks all. GPs are, after all, general practitioners. Osteo has sorted me out in the past, but Dr Google is cheaper so will try that first.
