Lump in neck

Shortly after having the az vaccine i noticed that I had a lump in my neck. I rang gp who advised it was a lymph node reaction after the vax. 6 weeks later .. it is still here... I googled it and all sorts of scary stuff came up. Apparently , a lymph node should be checked out two weeks after its appearance if it os still there. Anyone had this sitiation or reactipn post jab . Feel worried .

It could just be a coincidence that it's happened after the vaccine.

However get it checked out, a family member had a similar lump appear and it turned out to be (completely treatable) thyroid cancer.

That's interesting as I have one too. Like half a pea 2 inches below my ear. I thought it must be a lymph node but didn't connect it to the vaccination. I wasn't going to worry unless it grew.

I had a post cold enlarged lymph node that stayed 'up' for six months.

Went to see a specialist who told me he wasn't worried about it at all, and it was just my lymph node doing what it's supposed to do. I went down eventually
