Sitting up unaided at 5.5 months help!

My baby girl wants so bad to sit up unaided she has used her arms as props for almost a month but has started to hold her arms out trying to do it alone. She seems to get so frustrated and just wails and screams and I don't know how to help her

My LG was like this. She learnt to sit really early.

Pop some cushions around her and let her explore it. Falling over is all part of the learning process.

The IKEA high chair is great with the cushion insert. Start putting her in this at mealtimes with you. She'll love it. Being able to sit and see what is happening.

One word of caution, keep the actual food out of reach until ready to wean .... my LG weaned herself by stealing food from our plates lol.

Even though she sat very early, she took a really long time to crawl (11 months) and walk (17 months)

She is just started blw as suggested by our health visitor and loves her high chair
