So I'm 37 and for the past 3 months I've had a change in bowel habits Blush it's not something you want to chat about but going round in my head!!
So last month and half been much worse literally liquid and urgency to go, so much so I've had an accident in shopping carpark Shock and so many near misses!! Stayed in for a week because I was to scared to risk it!!

So here's the tmi for those that might want to know .... its bulky liquidity slimy orange and odd smelling ....so I've kefir.....yakult ...imodium ...water...electrolytes...even wormed myself lol !! It seems also like what I eat passes through within 6/9 hours sometimes undigested....
So semi forgot about it for a while but its not any better so keep thinking must go tk gp it's most likely something simple infection or internal piles??
I brought a self bowel test I saw on GMTV dr hillary was taking about so thought last ditched attempt maybe is something I'm eating ....it tests for blood then I would know I need to see a gp .....did the test came back positive within the first minute after 5 the wait time still same, I wasn't expecting that really even now think maybe buy another and check again before going and wasting time with gp ....

Something else randomly keep getting not like dizzy or lightheaded but it's the only way of explanation its much like that but almost like that rush/throbbing feeling when you cut a finger but all over if that makes any sense to anyone....
I'm a big girl and I haven't noticed any weight loss but my husband and mum keep saying how much I've lost ...and I'm always always tired but I do have a 8 month old baby and 3 older girls so that's to be expected!!

The thought of going to the gp just makes me cringe !! I hate going for anything always feel stupid as if I should just get over it lol so last time I went because of illness was prob 6years ago....

Not sure what I'm looking here for anyone with similar?

Go to the GP. They are talking about poo all day long. They like that sort of thing and are happy to discuss all bodily workings.
You are avoiding tackling something that is making your life a misery. Just go and get it sorted!!

It's really not that big a deal. Go to the GP.. on Monday.

There are so many things it could be. You need to get to your GP and just tell them the facts. They will help make it easier by prompting you with questions.

It could be so many things from IBD, allageries, colitis, etc

You are past the point of sorting this out yourself. Get to your GP.

I also did a home test which came back positive for blood, had big changes in my bowel habits etc.

Doctor and hospital were amazing, ct colonoscopy ruled out cancer.
I have a combination of diverticular disease and ibs, bleeding caused by internal piles.
I’m still suffering but it’s manageable and not life threatening

Please please see your GP

Hi, really hoping that someone can reassure me. GP ran blood tests for me few days ago and it shows I'm Anaemic, even though I wasn't before. She also ordered a stool test which came back positive for microscopic traces of blood ( I didn't notice anything). Shes referred me back to my gastro ( I have chronic gastritis) and now I'm due for a colonoscopy. I'm freaking out it's something horrible... will be turning 40 next month, have noticed some change in my bowel habits but thought it was due to stress ( have been very stressed) and taking PPIs. I've been feeling tired and lost a maybe three kilos. I'm really scared, only had an endoscopy last month which just showed up the gastritis and gastro didn't see the need to do a colonoscopy back then. Any advice??

I also suffer from piles on/off but never noticed any bleeding.
