Pink Urine :(

Hello,

Yesterday morning when I went to the toilet, I noticed my urine was pink - nothing on wiping, that was normal.
Went for a long walk and afterwards it happened again.
No signs of infection, no pain, no frequent urge to pee.
Happened again in the afternoon, but by the early evening it was normal again.
And then before bed it was light pink again.

Got up around 4 when a little one stirred, and went to the toilet on my way back to bed and again it was light pink, not a lot.

This morning all ok again.

Going to make an appointment because that’s not normal is it? I feel completely fine in myself, don’t feel like it’s a UTI as there is no pain at all.

I’m such a worrier though :(

Have you been eating beetroot? I always forget when I have and then think there's something terribly wrong with me.

Beetroot or blood I would say. If the latter, you probably have a bladder infection and antibiotics will sort it out. In the meantime, make sure you have plenty of water.

Thank you. No, no beetroot. I am drinking plenty of water - I thought I already did but it’s made me a bit paranoid so am carrying a bottle around with me.

Went into doctors and they seen me straight away (live abroad) Doctor thought it was strange that I didn’t have any pain or other symptoms, sent me to do a sample, and she prescribed me 2 days worth of antibiotics - really strong ones.
Said if it doesn’t appear to clear then come back and they’ll want to do an ultrasound.

I feel absolutely fine, just concerned about not having any other symptoms.

Will see how it goes over the weekend.
