2 year old DD has been unwell since friday. She's not eating at all now, I'm having to bribe her to drink and she has been either attached to me or crying constantly for the last 48 hours. Even when snoozing she has wanted to be right on me. 6 year old DS had a bit of a cough over the weekend and then was sent home from school on tuesday afternoon with a temperature. He has a nasty cough and cold now and has been running a temperature on and off. He's finally eaten something this evening (a bowl of fresh broccoli ) and is now off to bed having slept on and off all day.

And now, I have a headache, my throat is getting croaky, I keep coughing and I feel rubbish. And I'm supposed to be practicing and studying for my practical exam on saturday. So, I have two problems. DD is not at pre-school and DS is not at school so my two windows for practicing have gone. Plus I feel rubbish and now I'm worried that I'll only get worse between now and saturday.

I eat a fairly healthy diet with plenty of fruit and veg but is there anything you can recommend that i could take to try and help?

TIA

Umm no, sleep, lots of fluids and fingers crossed - sorry. You can take caffeine and aspirin on the day to help pep you up a bit (and obviously if you are congested olbas oil can help).

sleep? Foolishly every time I have sat down with DD today and she has fallen asleep I haven't been comfortable enough to sleep too (lack of experience on my part, I've never really been a snoozer but after having spent pretty much the whole day on the sofa today I can see the attraction now .
