Have large vaginal cyst on labia for years and a small one beside it, that is gradually getting bigger. Have no pain and was told it's not a bartholin cyst. My doctor said I would need to go to Day services and get a general anaesthetic. But I got a phone call from gynae asking if I wanted an appointment with them to have them removed or if I wanted to remain on day services list. She told me that it's a simple procedure and to just take two painkillers an hour before my appointment, that I probably won't need a local anaesthetic. Has anyone had any experience with this? Not sure what to expect.
