Mole or wart?

Does anyone know? I've had this on my scalp for years, can't see it so have to take a photo to look. Recently started itching so took a photo and I'm a bit shocked. Totally gross. Always thought it was a mole but maybe it's not. Any ideas? Hopefully the photo works.

It’s changed and become itchy so I’d be asking the GP to take a look.
