Nagging pain in my right side, what could this be?

It's roughly level with my tummy button, but further over towards my side. I've had a nagging pain there for about 3 weeks on and off. What vital organs are round there? Seems a bit low for liver, kidneys are more back pain aren't they? Appendix maybe? God I sound ignorant.

Are you constipated at all?

Gall bladder? Can be almost up under the bottom rib on the right side.

Does it hurt when you press it? I had appendicitus and sounds similar - maybe grumbling if been going on for a few weeks. Mne exploded after a week and you know about it then!!

You need to see your gp....that is the only way to find out. Make an appointment today.

I hope it will turn out to be just wind or something, but better to check!

Thanks for replies, I think I will arrange an appointment with my GP. Not constipated, could be appendix or gall bladder, or I was thinking maybe 'ladies problems' although all seems ok. I'm nearing 40.
