Huge bald patches

I have posted on here about some really really stressful stuff that I'm going through and am still going through.

I was pretty much homeless with my two kids 4-5 weeks ago and although we are now settled I have huge enormous bald patches. It was the worst experience I have ever gone through.

Lumps came up all over my head-huge itchy lumps and they then bled and scabbed over. I have maybe 10 huge bald patches. My hair is mid back length -and therefore tying it back is something I do but everytime I brush huge chunks come out.

My friend said I should see the GP. I don't know if the GP can do anything. My daughter has just taken some pictures of my hair tied back and the patches are obvious. I could and have cried. I'm guessing I can't do anything about it -that it is just stress and will settle down?

Yes, see the GP. Hopefully they will give you an MOT,

Do go to the gp, there are lots of reasons for hair loss, and they’ll be able to do the right tests to work out what has caused it, whether stress or something else that can be medically treated.
