ds is 12 mo, has been vomitting on and off since sat and is really washed out, have spoken to the dr who told me not to worry if he isn't eating but think he is getting his appetite back, just not sure what is good to give him. His all time favourites are cream cheese and yogurt but i guess they aren't great for a poorly tummy! Any ideas? Ta!
ps will also post this in "food" !

water, banana, mashed potato, boiled pasta - hope he feels better soon .

I think plain white rice should also be OK.

Obviously, plenty of clear liquids.

Foodwise - breadsticks or dry toast or plain bread are good things to start on. Or plain biscuits (rich tea fingers)

Actually, yoghurt IS good if he feels up to it. Make sure it's an 'active'/probiotic one. It'll repopulate his gut flora.

Absoluetly nothing dairy so no yoghurt!!

Some dry toast is best or a little mashed potato (only add a dribble of milk though). Pasta, water etc.

We recently had a week's diarrhoea and some vomiting in our 11 month old: GP said to give Activia yoghurt (probiotic) but she didn't want to eat it. So we bought kids' Acidophilus from the local chemist, and added to her milk - definitely helped.

HOpe he's better soon!
