I have been suffering daily headaches since the end of December after testing positive for coronavirus. They are mild, one-sided (felt on both sides), come on suddenly and don't last long. I feel them around eyes, nose, temples and top of forehead. They are aggravated by movement. I have spoken to two different GP's who didn't think they were serious, blood tests and pressure were fine. I was advised to go to the optician who discovered I have blocked meibomian glands which I am treating. I have also been referred to the long covid clinic. I have a mouth guard as dentist saw signs I am clenching my teeth, although said it wasn't too bad.
I have in the past suffered from health anxiety, but have been on top of it for a couple of years. Last night I stupidly went on a googling spree and have now convinced myself I have a tumour or aneurysm. It's the pain being aggravated by movement which has particularly freaked me out, although GP said this would only be a concern with other symptoms. I've spent the day obessessing over every sensation convinced it's evidence of something being terribly wrong with me. I was late on the school run, walking fast and my head started pounding, worse than before which has sent me into a complete spiral. I'm even googling private mri's. Has anyone had anything like this that turned out to be fine? Anyone else with headaches as only long covid symptom? Thanks in advance!
