... regarding dermoid cysts which hospitalised me 2 weeks ago as one had twisted. am so scared they will say its the big "C" as i had pre cancerous cells on cervix removed 15 years ago. am so utterly scared.

Good luck DF. Try not to worry, easier said than done, I know. Its good that you're being seen so quickly and whatever the outcome, it will be sorted.

Just wanted to say good luck too.I can understand how worried you must feel having had similar problems myself - but bowel related in my case.As far as the big 'C' is concerned is there any reassurance in that presumably they would have picked something sinister up on your smear tests.

phew! been to see the gynae and now have operation date in place. my biggest fear was that the cysts were cancerous and thank goodness, today we found out they are not. am so relieved i cried!
