12-18 month vaccinations - confused

ds is 15 months old and dh has taken him for his MMR today. Just had a call from the hv while he's there and she says he should've had a Hib and Men C booster at 12 months, and he also needs a pneumococcal (sp?) jab as well soon... but none of those are in his red book for this stage. He definitely had Hib and Men C at 2, 3, and 4 months... is she right that he needs it again now?

He also definitely had the pneumococcal jab earlier, which I told her, and she insists he needs it again.

yes, my DD had a Hib booster at 12 months and is going to have a pneumonococcal booster with her MMR at 13 months!

Oh thanks. Was just a bit worried that it's not in the book (and she's talked nonsense before).

yes, it was introduced late last year so it won't be in your book, your HV should've given you a notice, the nurse at your gp will also have a leaflet with the info. They get the booster with their first mmr.

at 12 months there is a MenC and Hib booster and at 13 months or so they get MMR and Pneumococcal.
