Incredibly sore skin with no marks

I am so frustrated. I hurt all over the top half of my body - it feels like my clothes are made of sandpaper. If I poke my arm it hurts so much. There’s one specific patch on my upper arm at the back above my armpit which is SO PAINFUL - no mark, no redness, no swelling. This is so intermittent and there’s no bloody rhyme or reason to it. I suffer with undiagnosed chronic pain in my hip and knee which often spreads through both legs and my lower back. Just had blood test for coeliac disease, low iron and thyroid deficiency- all normal.

I’ve tried to get this sorted for years and been fobbed off over and over again, had physio which did nothing. I now can’t get a phone appointment for sooner than the 25th may.

Why the fuck do I feel like this so often??? I just go and go at work and then get in the car and it’s like all the adrenaline runs out.

I get this

It’s called allodynia, I get it before I’m unwell and it’s horrible

Sometimes it makes me feel sick

It’s so horrible. I’m definitely not ill and it’s so frustrating to just have random patches of such painful skin for no reason! I don’t know what causes it!

I think it’s nerves going into overdrive ...?

Yes it’s horrible

The only benefit to me is I know straight away to get an early night or two

There have been times when I couldn’t wear anything apart from pants! The outsides of my limbs are where I get it
