So I broke my elbow about a year ago, it wasn't broken all the way through but apparently a significant crack. No treatment apart from a sling which I was told to try not to use for longer than a week or two. Anyway about a year on and my elbow hurts pretty much all the time on a low level with very painful stbbing pains a few time a day if I try to extend my arm quickly for example. It also sometimes seems to get stuck and I have to really concentrate and kind of really push it straight. Is this normal? I'm late 30s does this mean I've basically bow got a dodgy elbow for live? Is it worth talking to the GP about this?
