Hi
I think I may have herpes 😢
I have recently finished my third lot is antibiotics for a reoccurring uti.
I've definitely now got thrush which I've had before and I have taken oral medication, and a pessary for yesterday and it's helped but only a bit.
But my vagina is so sore, so swollen and cracked. I've also noticed some possible ulcers on my labia today.
Gp wasn't able to give me an appointment as I rang this afternoon. I rang the gum clinic and they can't offer an appointment until Monday which will be a telephone appointment between 8.30-18.30 they can call at any time.
I work in healthcare myself and run clinics- there is literally no way I can leave a clinic and patient if I get a phone call from them. I need at least an approximate time which they can't give.
I'm in so much pain and so uncomfortable 🥵
Do you to think it would be unreasonable to ring 111 to try and get a doctors appointment.
Also if it is herpes I know it's best to start anti virals within first five days. I haven't got a day off (other than this weekend) until next Friday.
I've also been in a relationship for last two years! But I know this virus can lay dormant.
Absolutely stressed out.
